Kuravi Veerabadra Swamy Temple is situated Kuravi Village. Kuravi is a Small Village and Mandal of New Mahabubad District in Telangana State. Kuravi is a unique for its culture.
This Temple was constructed by the famous ruler of then "Bheema Raju" of Vengi chalukya Dynasty renovated by the Kakatiya ruler known as "BETHARAJ-1". Kuravi Veerabadra protect the residents. Sometimes in the form of human he would play and sing with the residets and would suddenly disappear from the there.

There are evidences that Kakatiya Veeranari Rudramamba wittnessed Veerabadra done Puja and offered im the Ratnas(Jewells). The Local People offer Pujas to Veerabadra Swamy as their "KULA DEVATHA" OR "ARADYA DEVATHA" and call him as "Veranna".

The Legend says that "PARVATHI DEVI" Married "LORD SHIVA" against the wish of the Father Daksha Prajapathi. Dakshya conducted Yagna Puja, He invited all but left Lord Shiva and Sati Devi. All the Gods Presence of they both got married is done with great fan fare and offerd Pujas.

Sri Veerabadra Swamy is considered as the Eldest Son of Lord Shiva and his brothers are Kala Bhairava, Lord Ganesha, Karthikeya and Ayyappa Swamy. He is considered as ultimate of Ego and has 21 Avathars.
