Pakhal Lake


Pakhal Lake is one of the artificial place in Telangana State. The lake constructed around 1213 A.D by the kakatiya Dynasty, Ganapathi deva, in the 13th century.  It is built in a small tributary of the krishna River. 
This lake is Spread over an area of around 30 sq km, and surrounded by hill terrain and a dense forest, is another popular attraction.
