Bhonagir Kota is Located in Yadadri District of Telangana State. It is a massive impregnable structure ereeted by Ruler. Bhonagir Kota's history is traced back to the 10th century. Initially it was called Tribhuvanagiri, renamed later as Bhuvanagirii and eventually it has become Bhonagir Kota.

The town of Bhuvanagiri derives its name from this splendid kota. Bhuvanagir Kota across area of 50 acres at a height of around 500 feet over the top an enormous rock formation. The Kota thet is encircled in a moat has underground chamber that is belived to be connect Golconda fort located 50 km away. The Kota also witnessed a glorious period queen Rudramadevi and her Grandson Prataparudra's Rule. The Kota offers a breath taking panasonic view of the entire region.





Visitors can find an impressive collection of amory, trap doors, stables and other tools of historical interest. The fort also has a Hanuman temple and many ponds at the hilltop.
