Padmakshi Gutta consists of a jain temple and Kakatiya kings ruled this area in arround the heart of the town hanmakonda. They have so many temples builds in their time. The temple also has rich sculpture of the jain Tirthankara's and other jain Goddess.
The Goddess padmakshi fondly called as "AMMA" by local language people. That is way she is popular known as "Padmakshamma". This
is Lakhs of womens come to this place to celebrate the famous Bathukamma fastival.
